Glitter jars -

I was taught about glitter jars during my time as an inpatient. I learnt the magic of glitter during a self-soothe class as part of an emotional coping skills lesson.

There’s no science, no counting, no acceptance and no forceful methods involved in the alteration of your emotions during use of the glitter jar - just distraction.

Making a glitter jar is simple. You will need:

• 1 jar (with a lid of course!)
• 1/10 vegetable oil
• 9/10 water
• glitter - lots of!
• food colouring
• anything else shiny

Add the water and vegetable oil together. Add a few drops of food colouring, all of the glitter and anything else shiny. Put the lid on (tight!) and shake it.

When you want to cut / binge / scream / cry, shake the glitter jar and watch until the glitter is settled. It’ll calm you and hopefully the emotion will pass.

Detective Lance told the fucking Laurel to stay away there and she even tries to fool him when they talk on the phone at first, that’s horrible if you are in a situation of life or death!

She could have escaped earlier with her friend and she prefers to save a fucking papers! (Your city is being destroyed and all you do is save your work papers, when possibly all is going to lose in the rubble and you’re gonna die? :O)

Tommy saves her and her, rather than stay, be brave and help him out, she runs outside and Laurel did not look back, leaving Tommy behind in the whole fucking danger! (Then she scream and she want to get inside when daddy holds her to not do it? Seriously, how brave you are, what a future heroine! Felicity and even Thea are heroines in this episode!!)

”Don’t blame Laurel for Tommy’s death” Say some people for the selfish and hypocritical fucking Laurel Lance!!!!!!!!!!

Even so, I have the hope that Tommy is alive and he just fainted because the shock, but I doubt it!

She never liked me from the first episode, but now…

      

Olliver told Laurel to stay away from the Glades with no proof of anything whatsoever.

Detective Lance told Laurel to not go in to work, something she was passionate about (and this has probably happened many times before).

Laurel saved papers. These papers could have been needless work papers, or they could’ve been something to due with her dead sister, absent mom, Green Arrow, anything. Plenty of people would grab something to save before running out of a fire if it seemed like there was time (which when she grabbed those papers, there was time).

Laurel pushed her friend out in front of her, who ran outside without staying and helping Laurel or even looking back. Tommy pushed Laurel out in front of him, and she thought he was behind her. (And then she screamed and wanted to go back inside to save her, unlike her friend. She was restrained from going back in. If she wasn’t, and she did go back to save him, she would be a hero like Felicity and Thea. But as that was outside of her control, she couldn’t).

Selfish: She has two guys who like(d) her (outside of her control) and she took her pick.

Hypocritical: I must admit, no examples come to the top of my head so I can’t argue this point.

Yes, Laurel can be annoying. But so can Thea, who replied to her mother’s confession “I love Roy”, who wasn’t even in the conversation. So can Tommy, who got pissed at Ollie for being the Hood. So can Diggle, for not agreeing all the time with Ollie. So can Ollie, for building Tommy up and then breaking him within the day.
